Uses Hydrosone is used to temporarily relieve minor skin irritations with itching and redness due to eczema, dermatitis, insect bites, poison ivy, poison oak, poison sumac, soaps, detergents, cosmetics, and jewelry. It is also used to treat acute and chronic skin eruptions that are responsive to corticosteroids and require anti-inflammatory, anti-allergenic and anti-itching activity. Dosage/Directions for use Hydrosone should be applied lightly to the affected area. It should not be used more than 3 or 4 times daily. Precautions Proper use: Hydrosone is for external use only. It should not be used in or around the eyes, applied to large areas of the body, or used to treat vulvar itching associated with vaginal discharge.
